If you want a prompt, professional and empathetic conveyancing service, then I cannot recommend Michelle Petersen and the rest of the team at Frettens, Ringwood highly enough. We have moved quite a few times over the years but due to our family solicitor retiring we had to choose a new legal representative. After receiving a recommendation, we phoned Frettens and Michelle undertook the sale and purchase of our recent move. Given the faultless, friendly and sympathetic service we received, I wouldn't dream of requesting the support of any other team than Frettens. We have already asked them to now update our wills.

Unfortunately from my experience I cannot endorse the other reviews. After six weeks I had heard nothing from Frettens, so I contacted them and found my file had been misplaced. Thereafter I chased every week for progress, and it seemed that only my contact prompted any action or a progress update. In all it took 20 weeks from offer to completion, though I accept some of the delay was down to the purchaser. If you decide to use this firm I suggest you be prepared to chase them every week, preferably by phone, to ensure the work is attended to promptly.
Moved into our house 6 months ago and have meaning to leave a review. Frettens dealt with our conveyancing for the purchase of our first property and we honestly couldn't have had a better experience! Bernitta Russell and the rest of the team were organised and efficient and always kept us in the loop on a regular basis given our very tight turn around that we had hoped for! Would definitely use Fretten’s again and recommend to others!

I recently used Michelle Petersen for the sale of our family home and subsequent purchase of another property. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Michelle herself and also her colleagues Sarah Leach and Lily Benson. Ours was a tricky transaction for several reasons, however Michelle and her team took all this in their stride and just got on with the job. What struck me the most was that Michelle used a common sense approach to situations, which in a world that appears to have lost this important skill, came as a refreshing change. The other simple but great thing she did was actually being available to speak to (in my experience a rarity with solicitors). Or if she was unavailable, Michelle would always call me back or ask one of her team to handle it. This too was very welcome given the stressful nature of selling and buying a house - sometimes all you need is just a bit of reassurance that things are happening. I have dealt with a number of solicitors over the years and generally have been disappointed with the service I have received, so it is a pleasure to say I would absolutely not hesitate in recommending Michelle and Frettens Solicitors in Ringwood. I will certainly be using them again in the future.
