As the dust settles from Hurricane Irma and life gets back to normal here in Southwest Florida we begin to see the effects that this major storm had on our area and the homes it effected. My friends and associates whom have built with Frey & Son have nothing but praise for this amazing builder and building company. I have personally done business with the Frey's for nearly 25 years and have found them to be a company that employs the latest and greatest building trends and tactics as well as being a company that has extremely high standards and are 100% about honesty and integrity. You cannot exist in this market for as long as they have without those traits being a corporate and personal core value and not just a marketing term. Don't buy a home from these guys, they use to own another company America's First Homes. I bought a house that was 4 years old from when it was built and its been a nightmare. First they put the smallest AC allowed and my cooling bill was outrageous, got it replaced way better now. They built the foundation on old debris and covered it with sand, so when it decomposed the foundation cracked very badly. It sent a crack from the center of the house into 3 different directions. One through my kitchen, one through the living room and one towards my master bath which cracked the shower wall and floor and started a leak into the wall. This crack also caused the drywall to crack in many places. The drywall is not flat or square so when i started replaced baseboards you cant cut 45 degree angles at the corners because they don't line up.I have spent thousands of dollars repairing this house because their warranty was invalid since they went bankrupt in Americas First Homes, but they had no problem starting this company. Beware!! Our dream home was actually a nightmare....
