A great 'specialist bakery' and cafe. The glass fronted cake display is filled with beautiful, enticing bakes. Option to eat inside or on the street based glasshouse like 'terrace'. We stopped for a little something 'pincho' whilst on a shopping expedition. We had some lovely mushroom and asparagus, fried croquettes and the fish, spinach and pine nuts. Light and tasty. Very good coffee and all at reasonable prices.
People. Andalucia offers a wide array of food and delicacies. But when it comes to bread as a part of your meal, La Canasta is the way to go. The sandwiches, juices and salads are just simply fantastic. They are served in generous portions at a very fair price. The personnel are attentive even amidst busy times. I can just only recommend this place as a must-try in Andalucia. :) I really wish they had this in the rest of Spain, because it is outstanding!
Me and my mum went on a mother daughter holiday to fuengirola to relax eat and spend some nice quality time together. We stumbled upon this place and the absolutely lovely gentleman working there called Alberto (english was incredible) he was a lovely sweet guy who helped us with our orders and cracked a few jokes because I was taking my time trying to decide from all of the amazing things on the menu, I have never wanted to go back and return almost every day to somewhere because the food was incredible so was the vanilla ice cream coffee drink and because the service was incredible too. I want to say a massive thank you to Alberto and the rest of the staff you made our holiday xx and we will be back
