Beautiful temple during the hydrangea season. For a small entrance fee, you can see hydrangeas covering the hillside and walk through their shade. There are a handful of roosters on the property, but they tend to keep to themselves. They have a beautiful tenugui and unique omamoris as well. There are also a number of daruma figures available. Definitely worth a trip if you are around this area.

正式には観音寺です。拝観料300円いります。おみくじや花など良いです。まだまだ穴場かも。
関西花の寺二十五ヶ所霊場の一番札所です。 お参りしたのは８月の初めだったので、石原の駅から全く日陰の無い道を歩いて来たので汗だく️でした。 丹波あじさい寺の通称があるほど紫陽花が有名なお寺ですが、訪れた時は桔梗が綺麗でした。 お庭に放し飼いされている鶏に癒されました
