Fukuoka International Airport Co.,Ltd. (FIAC) is the operator of Fukuoka Airport (FUK), the 4th largest airport in Japan and the largest airport in Kyushu. In 2019, FUK registered 24.7 million passengers, of which 18.3m are domestic, and 6.4m are international. Founded on 2 July 2018, FIAC was established by the Fukuoka Airport HD Group, a consortium led by Fukuoka Airport Holdings, and comprising Nishi-Nippon Railroad, Changi Airports International, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Kyushu Electric Power. FIAC has a 30-year concession right to operate FUK, and took over operations of the airport on 1 April 2019. FIAC’s vision is for FUK to be a top class international airport in East Asia with an unrivaled East / Southeast Asian airline network, and to register 35 million passengers and 100 routes in 30 years.
