If you put golf, bowling, frisbee golf, and sporting clays in a blender and set to puree', you end up with the best bit of fun on the planet! My father lives in Tennessee and he said he would make specific trips to just to go here! Very friendly staff, very clean and the woods provide great shade on hot days. Treat yourself and spend an afternoon here. No need to own a shotgun, they rent them. I cannot stress enough how you need to this at least once!

This is a very well-run facility. The clays ranges are a lot of fun and well thought out. The pistol range offers autonomy and peace of mind thanks to the range safety keeping and careful eye on the shooters in each bay. The staff is great, and the Purple Heart parking very much appreciated.

I was there for the clay shooting course. Well cared for and beautiful course!! If you haven't shot a shotgun before or in a while, have no worries. Drake Landing personnel will give a shotgun tutorial/refresher and safety briefing. 13 shooting stations to go through so I recommend renting the cart. There is shade at each station and a water cooler at one of the shooting stations, but make sure to bring lots of water.

Beautiful facility. Rustic charm while at the same time having a beautiful modern pavilion/eating area capable of handling things like the catered lunch for the Ducks Unlimited charity event I participated in. Looks like it would be a great place to hold a corporate shoot/team building experience. My group only shot the older course, and these are my obserxations: 1) It is long! Rent or bring a golf cart or utv. 2) If you shoot an over/under, some of the stands have a high rail or shelf in front of the shooter that makes it very awkward to keep your barrels pointed safely down range while loading and unloading. Much easier if you're a semi auto shooter. 3) It seemed that several of the the report pairs, the B thrower was noticeably slow and you found yourself waiting on the clay a bit longer than what I have typically seen on other sporting clay courses. All that being said, it was still a solid and challenging course cut from the thick pine thickets common to much of the area. It also looks like they have a nice 5 stand but we did not shoot it that day. Looking forward to a return trip!
