First, I have to say the food is good and the prices very acceptable. Service is quick. Location is perfect and the atmosphere is, too. However, what I do not appreciate, is that no one was asked for their contact data. We are currently in a pandemic and I am happy we can live quite a normal life. So let’s please all do our best to make it the best.

We stopped here before heading to the famous castle and it was one of the highlights of the trip. The food is so good with very deep flavours and loads of intensity, a very home made Bavarian style and nice big portions. The price is very appropriate. Don’t miss the pasta with cheese sauce and crispy onions.

All the dishes we ordered were delicious! Especially the mixed platter (EUR 18.90) with the huge meatball and melt in your mouth roasted pork. We came from Switzerland and compared to the prices there this was such good value for money! The sauerkraut was really good too, the only thing was the Sausage platter which we expected would be a full sized sausage but it is actually more cocktail-sized, it was still tasty though. All in all the group of us really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, food, beer! It was pretty crowded on a rainy Saturday evening (note that no credit cards are accepted)

Open earlier than most of the other lunch places at 11:00 am. Food was ok, although schnitzel was not anything special. We ordered one kids meal and the waitress brought the full size and charged us for full size even after she realized she put in the order incorrectly. Beer was good though.

Friendly staff, delicious food and beer, reasonable prices for sizeable portions, cosy atmosphere on a quiet Monday.
