Less start by saying I really do understand the need to screen people but when you have 4 people who have to put up 50 per app fees one who is a retired nurse who takes care of a retired man and take care of her special needs son and I work in the power industry that is gone out of town most of the time we drove 2 HR just to look at the house I miss a day of work just to be told that we didn't fit the point system a 500 mistake on my part..no I wouldn't recommend using this rental company to anyone...

Applied for a home and was denied due to a \ minimum requirement\ not listed on their very thorough requirements list. If it is something like the number of children in the bedrooms of a home that is going to prevent you from an approval then it should clearly be listed so that the applicant does not waste their time or money on the application. Especially when you are thorough enough to state \No students or No Section 8\ and require 3 times the rent amount for income.. which was clear that we exceed. Trust me when I say if a bigger home was available in the area we need to be in then we would not have even applied. 3 children can share a bedroom anywhere else, but it still seems like discrimination and personal preferences play a huge roll in who is selected to rent for this company.

This is a great realty company. They have a logical system in place to maintain security and screen potential tenants. I have had positive interaction with most of the professional staff at Gaffney Realty and they have helped me get settled in my new apartment. Only complaint is that rent is due on the 1st of each month and I get paid on the 28, so I have to pay rent as soon as I get paid to avoid a late fee.

This company runs a very professional service. Not all people like having to deal with a strict system but this is the only way to ensure good neighbors and good long lasting relationships. Highly recommended.

I have rented a property for 3 years and some of the people that Gaffney Realty are the best people I have talked to and had business with. They have work with me on my maintenance issues but there are times that I had trouble getting contact with them and get them to come in and fix the issue. Once I do have them in the apartment, maintenance has done an incredible job to fix the issues and also go over and beyond by fixing my closets and putting shelves that I didn't eve ask for. There are couple of people I have dealt with that was very rude when I started first renting but I could always address my issue with someone else if I do not want to talk to with that person. I haven't had best experience for me as renting my first apartment by myself with my child but it has been improved. When I first moved in, there were issues with the apartment but I just hang in there and made it mine and addressed it to Gaffney Realty. But over the years as I pay my rent on time I never had an issue except for maintenance. But they have improved over time of how quick the maintenance can come and fix the issue. If you are renting for the first time, it would be a good place to start because they will work with you. I moved out from the apartment last month because I have a new home. Thank you Gaffney Realty for taking my business for three years.
