Amazing value for your money. A night out in Midtown 6 in your pocket couple of friends one delicious night. Don’t sleep on these burritos! Definitely top 3 burritos to have ever entered my mouth in my love. I’m pretty sure their burritos have been written about in the Bible.

I've only been to this Flaco's once, but it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food tasted good, and I definitely consider it as an option when I'm looking for a place to eat. They have vegan and vegetarian options.

Its a pitty this place is so confused about traditional cuban cuisine. MAYO is not cuban... It has no place on a Cuban sandwich or a media noche. On top of that he tried to tell me its the way they do it if you're from Miami or Cuba........ ummmm, NO WE DO NOT and by we I mean Cubans from Miami. #imcuban #holdthemayo #Hialeah #pepebillete #palabasura

You have to visit at least once. They have great service and super short lines. Good amount food for your money. Could possibly be one of the best kept secret in Midtown.

They are so dope. My favorite Spanish place in Gainesville. Nothing comes close. It’s like being in Miami and going to that regular neighborhood lunch spot. Take it from a Dominican from New York and South Florida who’s had Spanish food everywhere Flaco’s is where it’s at in Gainesville their pastries are so soft they melt!

Nice cuban style sandwiches and great burritos. The cuban gator is a good alternative to a classic cuban sandwich.

Gordo's Cuban Bakery at Midtown is a more appropriate name for this hole in the wall - because that's what you will look like after indulging in its savory choice of hispanic pastries and baked goods. From guava and cheese pastelitos to arepas and ropa vieja sandwiches, Flaco's offers a wide variety of inexpensive and delectable food options ranging from 1-7. I give my critique based on early and after hour experiences. I have not eaten at flaco's during its busiest hours - which seem to present customers with problems such as long waits and misplaced/forgotten orders - but the many times I have eaten here during breakfast and after a night of going out, I have had nothing but filling food, personable service, and awakening cuban coffee. For the downsides, Flaco's has a tendency to run out of food, and that is because it is in such high demand and the fact that workers don't store/freeze their pastries - which are delivered, heated, and sold the day of. Its sandwich ingredients are sometimes not premier, while the sandwiches themselves may be prepared differently from time to time. But what Flaco's lacks in authenticity, in part due to the smooth jazz (which I like), it makes up for in comfortability. What it may lack in quality, it makes up for in convenience. As a hole in the wall quick eat, Flaco's Midtown is your best bet, and a great addition to any college campus.
