I'm going to ask others if this is a fair solution. I brought a necklace and charm to Jewelry Works to have a break in the necklace fixed and the charm put on the necklace. I picked up the necklace and wore it once and the necklace broke in the exact same place that was fixed and the charm was lost. The charm was made by another Jeweler of 18k gold with diamonds. It cost about 800.00, nice price but not bank breaker. Dave offered to find my a replacement charm and I would have to pay him cost for the charm and I do not think I should pay anything for the charm. Is that a fair offer to you rating could increase if you think I'm being unreasonable.

Excellent experience. Very professional people. David takes sincere pride in his work. He will not sacrifice quality! We had a ring resized and appraised. We feel the ring, had some loose stones that we had not been aware of, and David fixed them. The ring looks better than when we gave it to him. :)
