Only one cadet died while I was here, which is a very good ratio especially because that cadet was not myself. I liked the campus but doing running till somebody threw up was not my favorite. Big props to the guy who would eat tobacco during the run in order to intentionally vomit so we could stop running. 8/10

My cousin went here for summer school in 1980 due to failing grades in school. He spoke of constant bullying by older cadets, destruction of private property and being ostracized. He did say that most of the faculty were nice and helpful.
I left here after two years. It was hard at first but the brotherhood was great. Great respect for some of the TAC officers there.
I came to RMA in the fall of 2017 and graduated with my brothers in the class of 2019. I was given OPPORTUNITIES to make something of myself that NO other public or private school could provide. I was in numerous clubs and held multiple leadership positions. At such a young age, I was able to make a positive contribution to my community and my peers. My advice to new or curious parents or even future Cadets... just give it a chance. Take the opinion of those who benefited from it, not those who wouldn’t give it a chance and disliked the rules.
