Gary came out and measured our home and provided us with a competitive quote. They then installed the floors the day they promised and did a fantastic job. No surprises, very professional and helpful. They even went above and beyond by providing some matching molding to match what they used where the new carpet abutted existing floor.

I have to start off this by saying the installers who did my flooring were awesome and did a wonderful job, I LOVE my floors in my new home. However, we found Gary very to be very unprofessional and quite frankly, rude. We were buying a new house needing about half the flooring put in. Our realtor reached out to Stevens flooring to do the job. He went to the house to measure, and gave us a quote that we were pretty happy with. Fast forward a few weeks and we went to the store to pick out the exact flooring/color we wanted. We told him that he’d already measured and were just coming to pick the floors. He stated “the only houses I’ve recently looked at is a really nice house on (street) and a trailer house. Y’all must be buying the trailer”....which we were not. I kind of let this go not thinking anything. We stayed for a bit discussing our options and he seemed to keep changing what he was saying, wanted to measure the house AGAIN and said he’d have a new quote. A few days later he called with a quote over 2000 over the original (we were not shown any flooring priced at what the original quote said). We went ahead and hired him because we needed it done pretty quick. During instillation his quote went up another thousand dollars making the grand total for 1300 square feet at 10,000 which is a little ridiculous to me. But the thing that really got to me was that he told our realtor that he asked my husband if we were sure we could make the payments on a house like that. I am furious at the level of unprofessionalism he showed during this process, and thanks for your concern Gary, but yes we indeed are able to make the payments. Neither ourselves nor our realtor will be using him again.
