I haven't been to Kmart in 15 years and it's like I never left. Only went because I saw a mail ad for a chest of drawers on sale. The price was cheap and when I saw the display model in the store I realized that the quality was cheap. Didn't by it. Props to the store for having it on display and saving me from a bad purchase. They had some nice dinning chairs that ship easily in boxes and require assembly that I would consider buying. Clothing selection was not great. I looked a women's and boys clothes. The music playing at the store was a fantastic selection of 90s hits that we never thought we'd hear again. Mambo #5. Jellyhead. They are all there on the Kmart loudspeaker waiting for you to listen. A time capsule of music awaits at your local store!

Very great telephone help from Kelly, she searched the store for an online item I could not find. Angie was just as great, went to her manager to make sure I got my order before I left the state the same day I placed it online! Very helpful and courteous. Thanks Kelly and Angie!
This Kmart never has enough cashiers. There are times when there are only two cashiers and the lines are 10 people long. I look over at the customer service desk and their are three people standing there just talking. Their are time when I a cart full of items and just left it there and went to a different store that had better customer service. I also have went to return an item and I am the second person in line and what should be less then i five minute wait turns into a 20 minute wait. While I wait there would be work walking up to the desk asking the only person at customer service for thing making my wait time any longer. Another experience is that there are times when there is only on customer service associate working and there is like 8 people in there line. I am at another check out and their is a item that need to be priced checked. The cashier can not leave the register, so i end up waiting for the person at customer service to finish with the eight people to come and do a price check. I end up telling the cashier to forget about the item or i walk back and do a price check on my own. I have worked in retail and never have i seen an under staff store. At least they should cross train every employee so when the store is busy they are able to accommodate for the amount of people in line.
I like that this store is always clean. It looks dingy inside, but it is clean. Everything is in its place. The only I don't like is the fact that they only have two cashiers at any given time. Which means longer wait times. Although, they are not usually that busy. I guess that would be the reason for the two cashiers only. I do prefer them to the other Mart.
I try to use a Kmart gift card and the cash register declines the card and says "CALL CENTER." Of course the store employees, especially the manager(?) Bintah Bah, do practically nothing. I had to use my own phone to eventually get through to Sears/Kmart corporate, who said that, oh yeah, they are having some computer problems and had some solutions for other stores calling in. Sears/Kmart corporate was shocked, absolutely shocked, that the employees at this Kmart store were completely unaware of their job responsibilities and customer service.
Waiting for the day when they shut down Kmart. The prices are high enough that its more worthwhile to go to the Target in Crown. Every time we've gone to this store its been a depressing experience.
