The customer service at this PO branch is extremely poor. No greeting and the member of staff I saw today had very poor communication skills and was most unhelpful. Such a pity the PO branch in Melrose is now closed down. Staff in that branch were friendly, polite and professional. I'm contemplating travelling to another branch some distance away to get service with a smile at the very least.

Wow, it certainly makes a big difference depending on who serves you here. It ranges from rude, belligerent and unhelpful, right up to pleasant, friendly and welcoming. I think anyone who has been into this branch will soon know which one they are being served by!

If you want rude service with barely a smile or even acknowledgment at times, then this would be the place to come. If the staff aren't talking amongst themselves about their taste in food or favourite TV show, they are ignoring customers and grumping about the lack of staff. It's impossible to get them to smile and any politeness they have disappears when you step up to the desk. If you have the choice to go elsewhere, do it.

Was in po to send important documents to Spain and was advised by the woman behind currency exchange the quickest and safest way was 54 pounds for 2 day delivery. Needless to say it is now the 28th and still not in Spain but when I enquired about it, of course it has nothing to do with them. What a bunch in there no smiles or hellos, as for the manageress just walks past large queue with head down. Time thePO head office sorted them out.
