Had breakfast here this morning, it was absolutely spot on and the service was good, quick and really friendly. Best fry up I have had for a long long time, excellent value for money even with the addons! Highly recommended by me!

Went in here today with a seriously disabled family member and they were aggressive over the virus conditions far past what was necessary. Horrible service and attitude from start to finish. Also a mess with how their set out running their table service etc and stuff really confusing eg do all at table, no menus and fill coffee at bar! Not recommended.
Food was alright however was waiting to be seated for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. Once seated at a dirty table was another 5 minutes before the table was wiped after having asked. Did not receive my drink until I went up to the bar, it was sitting on the bar and looked like it had been for some time. Staff very slow and disorganised, the place was not particularly busy for a Saturday and I dread to think how slow service would have been had it been busy. Did not receive one of the food orders for about 10 minutes after everyone else had finished eating. Near impossible to flag a staff member. Overall quite disgusted by the service even for a wetherspoons, not expecting much however this seriously under delivered.
Wasn't to impressed withertherspoon in Galashields. My meals was fine. But my Girlfriend chicken burger was slightly burnt and dry. Had to change it to a beef burger and chips.
Dreadful experience. Risotto was frozen in places, clearly microwaved. It did not benefit from a second reheating.
Undercooked chicken on my buttermilk chicken burger. When I complained I was offered a replacement tbf. I asked for a refund instead. I was then told it had gone through without so much as a receipt (as I purchased on the app). We then asked for another drink and were refused. Citing covid restrictions. Then said we will go back outside (where we had been for 3hrs prior) only to be told it was full and they couldn't serve us! At this point I insisted on a receipt for my refund as my goodfaith on what I'd previously been told had ran out. The manager faffed about at his till for 10mins before issuing me a receipt (minus the cost of the 'free' drink it came with of course). I can't say for sure but my instincts tell me had I not insisted on the receipt I would not have received a penny back. Basically wetherspoons are the ryanair of pubs. Fine if all is well, the minute anything is wrong they don't want to know. They are cheap for a reason. 9 times out of 10 you won't have any issues. Just beware on the 10th occasion they clearly couldn't give a flying f*ck about customer care! You pay for what you get....never a truer saying!
Great Wetherspoons in Gala, worth a visit..
