Rooms are alright, breakfast too. Breakfast is not a buffet, you need to choose from a menu. Nothing fancy (I recommend the pasticciollo) and don't expect the service to be incredibly quick, although they do make the effort and are incredibly friendly, you're in a very chilled out city in southern Italy. The view from the restaurant is actually really nice. The building is within the historical centre of the city, with really thick walls which results in Wi-fi being awfully poor. Also we've had issues with the shower drain, but the concierge quickly moved us to another room. Service is friendly and the building is really nice, location is perfect, only a couple of minutes walk from the heart of historical city centre. Come here if you like to chill out, there's not much else to do than bathe in the sea, drink and eat (really good food and really good drinks btw). Lots of stray cats around the area and they seem to be cared for by the hotel staff, I love cats so that's a plus to me! If you don't like cats, don't worry because they won't come inside the hotel or rooms. I'd give 5 stars, wasn't it for the really poor WiFi and mattresses, but I'd give a 4.5 stars to be fair.

My single room was a box size with no window so I had no natural daylight or view. There is no relax area outside the hotel room like a seating area... just rooms and stairs then the exit. Feels like a cheap apartment Rather than a hotel. The breakfast area is outside the hotel next door... the food is so basic and if you want fresh juice instead of from a carton you have to pay extra and if you want hot eggs instead of a cold boiled egg you have to pay 4e more. Literally I think I could eat better in a prison. For 100e a night this was pathetic.

I am from Lecce, and I have tried so many different restaurants in the area. Well this one is definitely top of the list!!! Great selection, quality and service without being too pretentious!!! Simply loved it!!!

55 minutes wait for an entry course, very poor seafood plate, and also warm - not served with ice. We ordered a huge fish with tomatos and potatos, but the end result was terrible - completely tasteless. From when we sat, to when we left, 3 hours were gone. One only positive thing: mineral water was excellent.......... I complained with the manager but nothing happened, won’t ever go back.

Had a shocking stay here. The receptionist showed me my room and it really wasn’t what you would expect in a nice hotel - no windows to the outside (only a small one to the hallway), really dingy, dark, hot and stuffy. I asked if there was a room with a window available, and she said no (pretty rudely too). Only after making quite a scene was it possible to get a different room (also not a huge fan of being lied to initially). A few other cons: - Really loud until quite late at night (people having drinks in the bar outside my window woke me up at 1am) - Internet wasn’t working in my room at all - Aircon is behind the curtain, so you have to choose between cool and dark. Opening the window to sleep is not an option because of noise Would not come back even if someone paid me for it.

Mina at the restaurant was absolutely amazing!!! We craved fish & it doesn’t get fresher than Al Pescatore. They bend over backwards to make your stay pleasurable. We were there for 3nights & had dinner at the restaurant the first night, it was so good, went back on our third night too. the room was cozy. overlooking the harbour but no noise even though it’s quite a busy area. loved every minute! christina e salvatore.
