Dont take your vehicle here for oil change please... my wife got an oil change and they for got to put the oil cap back on and the dip stick wasn't even all the way in... so couple hours after the oil change my wife says check engine light is on, I was at work so she brought it over and i open the hood, I went to check it and the cap wasn't on and oil was everywhere... I was pissed off and we tried calling tates and they didn't answer the phone... how dumb can you be to forget to put an oil cap back on after an oil change...

Good experience with them, if you have the income you get a purchase. Service department good but common sense reasons for work that needs to be done. Don't be a push over for service. Car payment not high. Sales could use improvement. hope their not closing, lot looks concerning. I need my vehicle service.
Over the past several months we have had a fair amount of warranty work done on our van. It seemed to be just problem after problem with it. Tate’s auto and Ed the service manager were very great in getting our work done and keeping us updated on the progress. We were given a rental car twice and their customer service was excellent! As for the product, don’t know if I will buy another Dodge but what I can say is their costumer service is one of the best.

I can't say enough good things about Tate's Auto Center! Recently, I was passing through Gallup in my Ram 1500 towing a 5th wheel trailer when I experienced engine trouble. Tate's diagnosed the problem quickly and their professional, capable, and compassionate staff not only replaced my transmission, they took care of me like I was family. What started as a very stressful event, was quickly turned into one of the best experiences of customer care I have ever had. During the time I was waiting for the transmission repair, the stayed in constant contact with me, checking to see if I needed help with errands or groceries and even went so far as to provide transportation to the Albuquerque airport and back so I could go home to Vermont for a family funeral. These people provided me with service truely above and beyond. Many companies want to give good service, but only if it doesn't inconvenience themselves. Tate's Auto Center staff gave me superior service under very difficult circumstances. Thank You Tate's!
Tates has been taking good care of me and my vehicle, especially with the new service manager Ed. In the past, I would have to wait forever to get my vehicle fixed there. They would say it would be a two hour job and I would spend four to six hours in the waiting room. Now, they have done an outstanding job of getting things fixed in a timely manner. And, if the repair is going to take a while they give me a courtesy shuttle ride. They even washed my vehicle! I have been really impressed with their customer service and advice! So much so, that I even purchased an extended warranty from them. Thanks Tates and Ed!
Idk where to start. I've been coming here for Years. But my last couple visits I'm not happy about. Ok so I take my car in for an oil change and I read the Multi point inspection and it indicates that I need new brakes. That my brake pad depth is in the yellow. That it requires immediate attention. So I keep that in mind and on my next oil change I read my multi point inspection and already assuming I need the brakes fixed. I look at my inspection and now I'm all in the Green. That all I need is an Alignment. Hmmm?? Weird. I do notice my brakes are making some screeching noises and I doubt the technician actually checked it OR the First technician is wrong also. Idk but I am taking the vehicle upon inspection after notifying the Service manager. He did get to my concerns right away tho. So let's hope I find out what's really up w my vehicle.
