Brian came highly recommended and i can see why. He was polite, punctual, extremely well organised and he methodically identified and repaired the problem with my fire, explaining the problem to me and letting me know what he had done to repair my fire. I've already booked him for next year's service and won't be looking anywhere else in future. Great service and a well deserved 5 stars!

Interested to read P Hutton's review. We had a similar experience. Charged 95 condemned the fire. Gave us a price to fix it for 500 which fell to 420 then 380. Also said he had a part in his car at a cost of 25. Gazco's website had the part for 2.50! I did not want him back in my home so contacted Gazco customer service who were excellent and the fire was fixed. His assessment of our fire repair was grossly exaggerated. Felt very intimidated by him in my own home. Avoid at all costs.
Had my fire serviced by Brian in September and must say it was a pleasure to deal with him. Brian is very professional and has excellent attention to detail. The process was very smooth from start to finish and Brian explained what he was doing and why. As it turned out I required new logs and they were ordered and are now fitted. If you are looking for an honest trustworthy engineer then contact this man. I would highly recommend Gaz Tech to anyone.
When we restarted our gas fire in the lounge for the first time (at the start of autumn) there was a bad smell and the carbon monoxide detector went off immediately. We therefore turned it off and called Brian for an appointment explaining what had happened. We therefore had to wait for the best part of 6 weeks for an appointment. We text the night before and re-advised that it was an issue with the carbon monoxide detector going off - the fire itself was actually functioning okay (apart from the smell). Brian turned up late for the appointment and then proceeding in carrying out a full service of the fire place before testing the carbon monoxide emissions. When he finally tested the emissions (after an hour of the servicing work) it immediately beeped that the emission rate was too high, to which his response was to stop everything he was doing - condemn the fire place and disconnect the supply and say there was nothing further he could do. I questioned this logic as to why would you carry out a full service if you are going to condemn the fire place if it has a high carbon monoxide emissions rate in the first place, however, this logic was lost on him, where he is clearly only thinking of himself and the money he can make to undertake unnecessary work. We were therefore charged for a full service at a cost of 95, which was clearly unnecessary given all the circumstances. We now have a fire place which we are told by Brian needs replacing albeit he doesn't actually know what is wrong with it and the cause of the carbon monoxide leak. We will therefore need to get a second opinion as to how we fix the fire and get it working. Brian's parting comment was that he would never own a gas fire himself as they are nothing but trouble, offering no guidance or help on how to actually fix it. When questioned on what was wrong and how do you fix this, his response was I am not a fire place installer!! Highly disappointing. I would avoid this individual at all costs.
