They offered me a job. Then I was told 3 days later, that I wasn't going to get the job because of my age. Apparently the manager or president doesn't think that people 30 years and younger can perform the task needed to run a kitchen.

My mother had the pleasure of living at Regency Park for the last year of her life. She was 94. She was a person who loved people and being active but had a memory problem. The staff and fellow residents were a delight to be with. She was always happy. Everyone took good care of her and kept her busy with all the actives and entertainment at Regency. She loved to eat .The meals at Regency are prepared by a chef which she enjoyed. The dinning room has cloth napkins and table cloths with a choice of 5 different entrees at each meal. Regency is set up in a home like atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. It is always clean and odor free. My family and I couldn't have been happier with our experience at Regency Park Assisted Living and highly recommend them. .

I worked at Regency Park for nearly 8 years before leaving to pursue other endeavors. During those 8 years, I had the opportunity and the pleasure of meeting some of the most beautiful souls one could imagine. I cannot count on both hands (or feet) the number of residents who I befriended over the course of the years. Some taught me the value of common courtesy, some taught me loyalty, and some taught me to stay true to myself. They were my friends and in many ways, my support. I also got to see the care for the residents at Regency Park. The caregivers and nurses work very hard to make sure all are attended to and they truly put love in their work. They have patience one could not buy and possess true heart. I am also very thankful for the Executive Directors (Sherry, from when I first started and now Nisha) for looking out for me and the residents. I am also thankful for them for allowing me to express my creativity. Without that, I would not have found my passion and true love. I am even more thankful that Nisha still allows me to come and share my art with the residents. It's something that brings me genuine joy and, hopefully brings some joy to them as well! Before I end, I also have to address the most important aspect. The food! Yes, rest assured, your loved ones will eat like kings at Regency Park.

My mom was a resident at Regency for the last three years of her life. She enjoyed that time, and felt at home there. I was impressed by the attention paid to providing interesting activities for the residents ... not just simple oom and board\. Near the end of mom's life, Regency went far beyond what would normally be expected of an assisted living facility in providing for her care and comfort. Highly recommended.

Regency Park is a small assisted living. It is on one level, which allows easy access to the activities and community of the ALF. When you walk into Regency Park Assisted Living, it feels like home. The residents, their families and the staff know one another like extended family. There is a piano and a resident who enjoys playing in the afternoon. There is a group of ladies playing cards. There are several jigsaw puzzles under construction. There is a variety of frequent activities. In the winter there is a fire in the fire place, and residents gathered around chatting. In the summer, there are people visiting on the porch. There is always something to do, with frequent and varied activities. The meals are delicious. I like this place due to the homey feeling. Other larger assisted livings felt cold and Impersonal to me. I like the community that exists here, and the caring and friendship between residents, staff and families.
