It’s a very pleasant dining environment, very clean and tidy. Also tourist friendly too with limited English though. A menu with photos alway helps heaps if don’t read local written language. Beef rib is the signature dish and very well cooked, flavor is great but on the lower side in terms of saltiness. Cold noodles are also very nice but spicy one can get hot, so is the kimchi side dish. We would definitely come back for sure!

The beef ribs were very delicious, satisfying and in big portion! Loved every dish & it’s probably the best meal we had during this Seoul trip.

Their ribs are high quality. A great selection of lunch menus ranging from cold noodles and dumpling stew. Lots of seating available and food is served quickly.

The ribs were delicious! It was my first time here, but I hope it's not my last. This was also my first time to have cold noodles and it was also delicious! The food is good, the restaurant is clean, and the service is nice.

One of the best ribs I've had. The meat was braised until they could melt off the bone. Very flavourful with a tinge of spice, perfect for cold weather. It's also paired with piping hot soup, which was very comforting. You can also choose to have them with cold noodle, which enhances the flavour of the meat. Service was good, and the staff were very friendly in explaining the menu, and recommending the correct portions so that you do not over-order.

Amazing place. Really friendly and helpful staff. But what's really amazing here are the beef ribs. It's a little bit spicy though absolutely delicious. I loved it. A small serving should be enough for a couple of regular eaters.

I am not surprised that this restaurant is famous. The galbichim and other dish (mandu, steamed beef i forget the name) are SO DELICIOUS. They served it fastly. The price is quite expensive but still reasonable. Located in myeongdong. Building next to McD.

Hard to find this Myeongdong branch since most search results point to the Gangnam main branch. However, we managed to hunt it down in one of the myeongdong alleys. This is in the same building as McDonald's at street level & Statbucks upstairs. The restaurant is on the 5th floor. As a famous galbi jjim (braised beef short ribs) joint, it certainly lived up to its fame. The medium portion was more than enough to feed us 3 ladies. Side dishes of mandoo, cold spicy noodles were good accompaniments. Beef broth came in a teapot which go into cups. The flavourful beef ribs were fall-off-the-bone. Savoury and sweet at the same time, my only complaint is that there did not seem to be enough sauce to eat with rice. Then again, could be the default way the dish is served. It was so good that we wanted to pack it to takeaway home the next day ;).
