Even out of season Garda is a wonderful place. I'm guessing that it's pretty busy in season, but there are plenty of cafes/bars and restaurants.

Busy but somehow intriguing if you like ice cream you will love it wonderfull restaurant's serving super menu's boat trips can't fault it but go by bus car parking looks horrendous

A great display in photos of 1930s 40s and 50s of motor racing brilliant.

Nice little town by the Garda Lake. Beautiful beach promenade. Tends to be crowded by tourists in the summer. Small shops and restaurants all over.
