Tom Putman has admitted to media sources that he is aware that his Facebook group (“Sudbury Landlords”) is host to an illegal tenant blacklist. While Putman is the sole creator and admin of this site, he continues to do nothing about the blacklist. This behaviour is absolutely DISGUSTING and serves to systematically deny people housing in an already volatile market. I would suggest bringing your business elsewhere as this “professional’s” complete disregard for the law (as established by the Privacy Commissioner of Canada) is likely to cause prospective clients countless problems down the road. EDIT (11/06/19): Putman’s actions have been reported and are currently being investigated by both the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the General Insurance Ombudservice.
