Don't know how many receptionists are employed by Garthdee Medical Group but one of them is an absolutely horrible, nasty, abrupt, unhelpful person! It has actually put me off phoning just in case I get her. Her colleague Liz is exactly the opposite and is a credit to The Garthdee Medical Group. I am in mid-eighties and appreciate a touch of kindness and patience. Have a few things I need seeing to but .........

It wasn't made clear to me the appointment was going to be on the phone so I missed my first one because I went to the practice. When I finally reorganising the appointment, I'm being berated for wasting a slot and thinking that it would be face to face as 'I don't think anyone hasn't seen the situation were currently in', thank you for making me feel like an ignorants ant. I'm french we still do appointments face to face.

First of all, it is really hard to get an urgent appointment. You have to phone them at 8 in the morning about 120 times. Sometimes people are faster than you. Then the receptionist will tell you that she cannot help and you can either wait 3 weeks for a routine appointment or call again tomorrow. If this happened to you on Friday, you have to be untreated until Monday. And even then you are not guaranteed that you will be first one on the phone line next week. Their doctors are both unprofessional and ignorant. I used to have a skin condition and came down there 3 times just to hear that they don't really know what it is and if I want to see a dermatologist I have to wait in a queue for 9 months. Some time later it got really bad - I couldn't cope with it so I went to hospital where the doctor gave me a diagnosis and treated me. That happens to me literally every time I go there. Different scenario but the same result: we can't help you.

Doctor House came for a house visit. My father has terminal cancer with a facial tumour and is in agony. She denied him his basic human right to care and left him unattended at his home himself. He is unable to swallow now yet she advised she cannot prescribe intravenous pain relief as there is still oral medication left (he cannot swallow). I am disgusted.
