Anne-Marie and Michael were the most attentive hosts and the house was superb. It is in a breathtaking position overlooking Loch Broom and an ideal centre for a photographer like me to explore the Highlands. My only problem was that I did not stay long enough! I will have to go back - I certainly will, as soon as possible

If you’re lucky enough to bag a vacancy here book it!! Stunning house right on the shore of loch Broom with commanding views, Sea Eagles cries and very warm hospitality from Anne-Marie, Michael, Pegs the border collie and the resident chickens. The accommodation is among the cleanest and well kept we have had the pleasure to stay in. Perfect location for checking out the north west of scotland. We are a family of 4 and our two children had tonnes of fun exploring all around the Hoose. Enjoy

Bit Cyphered

My 6yo, wife and I stayed in the Loch View room for 3 nights to revisit the surrounding area again after a number of years having not been to Ullapool. The hospitality shown by Michael and Anne-Marie was exceptional. They are both very accommodating, knowledgable of the stunning area they live in and easy to chat to. The house was immaculate as was our room. "Moby" the resident cat and my son got on great which made my him feel at home. There was freshly baked cookies in our room on arrival and the breakfast was very healthy and was adjusted to any requirements. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Taigh a Chnuic Studio Hoose or B&B. Thank You Michael & Anne-Marie!

Studio Hoose is a fantastic and beautifully furnished rental in a stunning location on the edge of Loch Broom. No expense has been spared on the house, it is fully equipped with everything you might need, all high quality and tasteful, with a local craft influence and an artist's eye. The house is comfortable and feels like a home with excellent beds and great facilities. We were there in the summer, but I imagine it will be super-cosy in the winter too. The owners of Studio Hoose care and this comes across in the personal touches - the best home-made cakes & bread, the extras - free-range chickens eggs (from chickens who are a hoot to observe and like a cuddle) not to mention their warmth, but with utter respect for your privacy. Clearly a lot of time and effort is put into making Studio Hoose such a lovely place to spend time, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it - the location recommends itself, just look at the pictures! The area is breathtaking and I would never get bored of that view. Worth every penny. Very interested to see the new Tree House that is going to be up for rent in 2020 - one of many excellent excuses to return I think!

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay at Studio Hoose in October 2017. The accommodations are superb. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a full meal; the entire house meets every need and want possible to properly visit the Scottish Highlands. The shortbread cookies are delicious! The hosts are so very helpful, informative, pleasant, and available if/when needed. My husband and I will plan to visit again on our next trip to Scotland! Thank you Anne-Marie and Michael!

Anne-Marie and Michael made us feel so welcomed into their lovely home. Taigh a Chnuic is luxurious, warm and inviting; a home from home with lovely views, great breakfasts, and zero light pollution for star watching from a comfortable bed. Anne-Marie and Michael took time to show us their new build, Studio Hoose, which is going to be a private holiday retreat in their garden. It will be as perfect as their house. With their recommendation we visited two beautiful white beaches, an art gallery and drove through some stunning scenery. We left feeling we'd made some good friends and we highly recommend a stay with them.

We only stayed one night but wish we'd had time for more. The room, the views, the setting were all amazing and Michael and Anne-Marie were wonderful hosts who really went the extra mile to look after us. Although it is early days yet it is already clear that they are creating a unique experience that will really do justice to the location. The style is modern and boutique but also completely in keeping with the beauty of the surroundings. We can't recommend highly enough and will certainly be returning for a week or two in the self-catering accommodation when we have the chance.

We spent one night at the Taigh a Chnuic B&B and could not have wished for a more welcoming stay. Anne-Marie and Michael made it feel like we were visiting friends, whilst at the same time giving us the privacy we wanted. The house itself is amazing and everything about our room was of the highest quality and comfort. The area, whilst being remote enough to make you feel like you are away from the bustle of rest of the world, was perfect for accessing Ullapool with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed for longer.
