I love to learn different cultures and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The people were very friendly. One suggestion, please confirm your visit time prior to arrival. We arrived there at 1 and it was booked for French tour.

Very disappointed. We stopped in for a visit and some kids activities (dream catchers and bracelets) but when we arrived, they told us that we had to reserve 48 hrs in advanced. I explained to them that their website stated that reservations only needed to be done when its a group of 6 of more. They didnt seem to care.... We still decided to do the tour. We did an English guided tour (because that was the next tour available). The guide was friendly but didn't animate like the French guides did in their tours... Overall experience was ok.

The site is composed of an indoor and an outdoor museums. They offer guided tours in both English and French. A reservation was required and it was not so easy to find a spot in July, so it's important to plan ahead. It was really worth to visit and my group learned a lot about Micmac culture.

This was a highlight of my vacation that I will not soon forget. There is a small, very well-done museum (not very strong AC, if any) and gift shop inside and a number of structures outside that our tour guide, Melanie, took us through with great knowledge. She did a great job and contributed greatly to our experience. I highly recommend doing the tour as it will add a lot to your visit. Two different kinds of bannock were available for sampling although based on others at the site, I really urge you to use the tongs and not just pick things up with your fingers. Parking appears to be limited. The visit was just under 2 hours to really experience everything so we were lucky that we there at 3PM because they closed at 5PM on the day we visited. Be mindful of operating hours!

I enjoyed my visit. I took the English tour and Bianca was very informative. Everyone working there was so friendly. The Bannock bread was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone that likes cultural or historical tours.
