Room was fine , seems they are short on staff. Need to have personal for guest service. My room TV was not operational and I requested for change at 8.30 AM and I was told to wait until 9.30 when someone can come down. Ridiculous.

Stayed here for five days. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevators are a little slow but worked fine and were clean. I enjoyed several meals in the hotel restaurant. There is a convenience store right next door and several places to eat within a twenty minute walk. Also twenty mins away across the bridge is Parliament Hill.
As a loyal customer to this hotel, i was shocked at how they treat their customers. We enjoyed coming to this hotel 2 hours from our home. We came to do christmas shopping Nov 2020, upon check in, our vehicle was hit by their plow company that clears the parking lot which left us stranded for the evening. The hotel did nothing to help during this stressful time. We were unable to leave the hotel because we had no idea of the condition of our vehicle (it was not just a small ding) we had no food or drinks in our room as we were planning on shopping after checking in. The hotel did not offer any food, drinks, discount, cab fair - nothing. We spent a couple hundred dollars to sit in a room over night and stressed to the max when this was suppose to be a fun, get away trip. The room nor hotel was not COVID clean. You could tell it was a quick clean job. As a valid member of Best Western, I have never been treated so poorly and will never return to this hotel again.
Hotel room, parking and the location is all excellent. Just a walk across the bridge and you are at the heat of Ottawa. Rooms are very clean and the management did an excellent job implementing COVID protective measures. My biggest issue was although breakfast is included, there is a massive line you wait for in the morning to collect it. Ended up eating out for breakfast rather than sanding in a crowded reception in line. Recommendation - place your order preference at check in and time of pickup. That way people come and pick up rather than order and wait. Or, just have a standard prepared breakfast option.
Great place, very clean. People at front desk, very nice and attentive, good service! I was amazed with my room because of the size, it was an apartment, so big! I loved the view.
I was in several hotels around the world, but this is the worst experience that I've ever had. I am from Iran that is a developing country. Still, I've never seen such terrible service in my country. when we arrived, and we struggled a lot that my family and my friend's family wants a room near to each other, which is mentioned in our reservation. Finally, by paying more, we have received it. The room just in front of the elevator with lots of noise and not clean enough. The worst part is they mentioned that the room included breakfast, but they only gave us two coupons while we are 4. it is like a fraud!!! I prefer not to speak about the breakfast and their service. we booked this hotel for 2 nights but because of their awful service we cut it down to one. they just ruined our trip. I just gave them 1 star because of their view.
Great staff. Parking is small. View is great (river view room) Didn’t have the king bed but it’s a covid issue so I understand. Nice place to stay
