Someone called me today to leave a comment on google review . I tought about it .. decided I would . Just letting you know this new team is amazing . they are moving heaven and earth to make things happen . Communication is the base of all. They are not perfect... but who is ... but each day i go for a visit I do not ear my loved one complain ...I ear joy and love ... What can I ask for after ... Good job team ... Keep it up !!! my grand mother lives there . Annie Pamela, Diane and the team are just Great , all the things they are doing to make my grandma happy is wonderfulllll. The food is good , we are always welcome .. I am just happy for her ..stay safe we love you

It is phenomenal the staff and employees are well first of all the receptionist are all young and lovely housekeepers are just as beautiful too and they work hard they will do anything within reason obviously but I found this place to be great. I practically don't even want to move back to my own house my husband put me in here so I would not drink. I went through a bad time after I had to move to Canada. I'm an American and I really missed Colorado once I get my passport I'm out of here hello I will miss the people and I'm going to give them everything they don't get tips ever get bonuses nothing
Worst place ever .. we had a family member there.. we quickly removed her once we say how she was not being well taken care of.. I did a placement there .. i saw first hand a lot of not so good things going on ... .. was asked to leave when i confronted them .....
Awful place. They are supposed to offer 3.5 hours of care per resident on the third floor. They offer none. They can ring, yell, ask nicely, no help comes. The attendants are always slouching in the dining room on their phones, ignoring the residents in the room around them.
We chose Chateau Symmes for my aunt’s care after visiting a number of residences in Gatineau. We were very impressed with the facilities, food quality and the staff. In particular, the nursing staff and technicians were very kind and provided our aunt with excellent care. If you are looking for a residence for someone you care about in Western Quebec, you should have Chateau Symmes on your list.
