I lived in le Central for over 2 years, every month people are moving out because the units have horrible soundproofing, very small for the amount being paid and the service is horrible. The person managing tenants, Vanessa literally told my neighbour that if she knew she had kids, she would have never rented to her because the building is not designed for children. The Club was closed for COVID and although it is included in rent, no reimbursements were offered. The buildings were originally designed for mature couples, but Junic quickly realized that younger people showed more of an interest in the units, and the community quickly turned from mostly retired people and young professionals to very young, and immature. From what I heard, the people in the units that were for sale are currently in a lawsuit against Junic because the Le Central rentals completely devalued their properties and forced them to have to share the club (they pay condo fees for) with tenants, Stay away at all costs, it's really not worth the cost to be in a new place that was built poorly.

Really disappointed with the service in general. Every resident seems to have a different story. Some being able to do one year leases, some two, some forced to pay for underground parking, some getting dogs approved then revoked. My previous home was from purchased from Junic five years ago. Great experience. The quality and honesty of the builder has dropped dramatically. Pricing changes without notice. The apartment is decent, customer service is non existent, good luck.
STAY AWAY from Junic! Moving into the newer Agora complex has been an absolute mess. Here's my pros and cons list: Pros: -the complex was promised to have amazing amenities (gym, pool, rooftop patios, etc.) -nice, spacious place with new appliances Cons: -the salesperson promised construction would be done by end of October and the pool and other amenities would be finished by end of October. It is now December 11. -they gave us a welcome packet with the Videotron information upon moving in. This would be great, except Videotron called asking for a good time to be setup about two weeks before I moved in. Apparently Junic never gave Videotron the contract details bevause Videotron asked me to pay for the service when it's all included in the rent. Cue 9 weeks of taking time to call Videotron and Junic. -construction literally everyday from sometimes as early as 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Waking up to drilling that early is always fun. Again, it's currently December 11. -the construction crews sometimes turn off the heat and hot water and we only get an email when someone from here notifies the Junic gestion. That's great, but if they don't notify the gestion, you jump in a cold shower. -support tickets are usually shown as read by managememt, then answered a day later -fire alarms constantly keep happening because they either don't lock the main control box or the construction triggers it -it's impossible to have deliveries come from some services because they can't find the building. Any sort of marker saying the entrance to the building would be helpful
It says dog friendly but it's not really dog friendly. They only allow pets under 15 pounds which is basically a mouse. I've seen heavier rats in New York. We applied for an apartment with them and was told our dog would not be a problem. We paid 100 to secure an apartment and it took them 3 weeks to tell us we have been denied because of our dog. That's 3 weeks of time I could have been looking for another place and 100 I have not gotten back.
Every year they raze as much forest area as they can to replace it with identical condos and houses. They have destroyed the Plateau and turned it into a hideous nightmare. Not worth anyone's money.
