From the outside this Hotel looks closed compared to the government building that are supposed to be empty due to COVID-19 work from home mandate ️

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, wifi available, great price, unfortunately the hot tub was not working but the pool and sauna were nice, small weight room available, and snacks available at the desk, there is also a restaurant available. Helpful staff and nice atmosphere. Would visit again.

We got a deluxe suite and we parked outside. The restaurant ( Les 2 Bistro bar) the food was not that good. The wine ( Pian di remole)was a great Italian wine. We couldn't park down stairs because the car was too high up. Our check was a breeze and Lisa was great. Our suite was fantastic.

We stayed couple of days here during our visit to Ottowa. In general it was a nice experience to stay here. I can not complain about anything. View was fantastic. We were surprised to find such nature view in the city. Room was very big. There was a underground parking but it was not free. We didn't take breakfast or ate at their restaurants so I can not comment about it.

Clean, good staff. Rooms are comfortable. The location is not the best for tourists. But it is reasonably close to the strip where you can find good restaurants and a short cab or uber to Ottawa. There is a restaurant downstairs and a fitness centre.

This could easily be a 5-star property with some improvements. The lobby is impressive enough, the staff is cordial, bilingual of course, and helpful. The amenities such as the pool, exercise room, and Business Center are fine. The business center could use a stapler. It actually has a pencil sharpener. Does anyone use pencils any more? The most disappointing thing about it is the restaurant. The service, especially in the evening, is fine, the prices are not bad, but the menu is severely, and I do mean severely limited! A couple of salads, burgers and one steak dish. Apparently bottled water to go has not been heard of either. Oh, and no matter how few people are in the dining room, and they're usually are very few for dinner especially, at breakfast don't try to sit two people at a table for 4! You will be told to move to another table. Kind of silly but I guess that is policy. The room was fine, containing a safe, refrigerator, a microwave, a flat screen TV and a sofa. The king size bed was comfortable and there were plenty of electrical outlets. The room lighting, especially in the bathroom, could be improved. If one shaves with a blade the lighting in the bathroom is definitely inadequate! Everything was neat and clean. The room HVAC system was one of the quietest I have encountered in quite some time. There is a charge for underground parking which is okay, but the spaces in the building itself are really narrow. Nice enough place

I stayed here 9 days on a work trip. Customer service was generally good. Rooms were clean, although a couple of colleagues claimed about being in rooms with crumbs on the floor and, in one case, an old beer bottle box behind a curtain. One of the biggest problems with the room is the kitchenette. Although it had a fridge and microwave, there was absolutely no cutlery, plates, disposable wash sponge, or dish soap. I don’t know many business people who travel with a full dining set. I had to pay out of pocket for dish-ware, soap, etc. When I asked reception for silverware, they gave me a plastic cutlery set. Seriously? In terms of location, the hotel is a bit removed; however, if you have a car, you’re just over the bridge from Ottawa and the parkway if you’re looking to go to some of the nicer areas of town (Westboro, etc.). Parking is 20 per night. Tip: if you’re planning on renting a car during your stay, I would recommend the nearby Budget. The owner allowed me to park my car back in the rental lot and avoid the parking fee. Gym was reasonable enough although there’s a great Anytime Fitness for any serious gym goer. You can even get a 7-day trial pass for first time users which gives you 24 hour access. Anyway. This place would be a much better property with a few upgrades. Definitely required a basic set of plates, cutlery, dish rack, etc. if it is truly planning on attracting future extended stay travellers.
