Staff is always polite, and the food arrives typically pretty quickly once you've ordered. I would suggest ordering food at the same time as your initial drinks if you're in a rush. You'll be easily in and out in 40 minutes this way. Food is always very good, and consistent from one visit to the next (been here over 30 times). They also have craft beer on tap, and rotating one or 2 craft beers every other week. Ps: they have Brasserie du Bas-Canada here.
No reservation little hamburger and fries restaurant with good choice of beers. Great dynamic ambiance and staff. Food is consistently good and worth the little price bump. You cannot go wrong with ANY of the hamburgers!Don't hesitate to chose a soup of the day instead of fries if you want a more healthy meal. One downside of sitting at the small bar is that you have constant view of the quite animated kitchen and staff running behind the counter, which is not at all enjoyable if you were planning a relaxing dinner. The remainder of the place is fine. Nice to sit outside during summer. Some care should be put making reasonable cappuccinos, because it's clearly not the commercial machine's fault.
No English menu available when I asked. Burger was burnt and fries were really soggy
I went for a burger and fries. Right away the service was meh (not that friendly). She was very efficient however. I ordered a 13.99 burger thinking for sure that fries would come with it. Nope, fries were an extra 3.50. :( The burger was thin and dry (I was expecting it to be thick and juicy). The bill ended up costing 30! I was pretty disappointed because I'm a chef and had heard good things about Foubrac. I know times are hard with Covid and I don't want to make them harder for this resto but I do think they could up their burger and service game.
