called for ac repair for an elderly friend of mine a few weeks ago: the central ac had not been used in two years: they told me over the phone it was probably finished. Called on a Friday, they said they would call the following week. Never did: a local guy in Aylmer fixed it for a 100 service call and the unit works fine.
I hired Pierre in early 2019 to repair, replace an air conditioner and repair parts to my furnace. Pierre’s employees decided to light up cigarettes in my furnace/AC room while installing it, so cigarette smoke was equally distributed throughout my house when the fan turned on. It was disgusting. After 3 more visits from multiple different contractors and a 10k bill, the air conditioning worked. They couldn’t do it in the first go, or the next, or the next, or the next. I then called them for furnace repairs later in the year and after 4 more random, unscheduled visits (they never return my calls, they just show up), my furnace still doesn’t work and it’s cold in my house while I wait to pay his competitor to fix my HVAC issues. I would rate this 0/5 if I could.
