First visit with my 3yr old daughter during Covid restrictions. Had a fun morning finding her favourite plane (actually the helicopter) and discovering some great local knowledge. Walked out to the edge of the site to watch some take offs and lands at Gatwick, which she loved too - a unique perspective. Look forward to coming back on my own to have a proper look at the exhibits :)

Great couple of hours, taking kids around this museum and learning from one of the veterans, Tony, who has a lot of knowledge about all the items and plane's on display. Also has a small cafe, with an outdoor picnic area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our day at our first ever Engine Run Day at the Museum.
A gem of a museum! Best of all was the tour with Jeff who gave us loads of extra information. It was relaxed but gave a personal touch to the visit. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and answered all of the questions we had. Some of the highlights were the Harrier, Vixen and Shackleton which you can get up very close to. You can also have a picnic while watching planes taking off from Gatwick. Cannot recommend enough!
Great little museum, some interesting facts about Gatwick Airport, who knew it was once a goat farm! Afairly small collection of mostly navy aircraft, particularly good to see the harrier gr3 in pretty good nick overall some of the other exhibits are not ageing well. Definitely worth a visit, took us about 40mins to go around so maybe plan this in to a few places to go.
