My friends and I went to Gazebo to check it out for a private event. My partner and I wanted to know if it was suitable. Gazebo's view was amazing no one can deny that. The food was alright. I was not blown away by the cocktails, appetizers, and main meal. We all were not impressed. In fact we all had no interest in finishing our main meal. We all live and work here in Istanbul but only two of us speak fluent Turkish. The waiter brought the bill per our request. He said the tip must be in cash that's how we do it here. Ok a couple problems here. First there was already a service charge included in the bill. We all have lived here for a long time. There is not a tip culture here. He kept insisting we tip him in cash. We of course knew he thought we were tourists and trying to rip us off. We called the manager over and asked. He said no service charge is included and we do not have this policy. The waiter then starts saying I did not say that blah blah. We were all quite upset because now he is lying after attempting to rip us off. We actually were going to give an extra tip out of kindness orginally. After he asked for it and tried being sneaky. We changed our minds. Basically, they lost potential private event and we will not ever go back there nor suggest it to others.

Last weekend I was there with a friend of mine to drink some coffee with a beautiful bosporus view. At first, no one seemed interested until I asked someone for any available tables. An employee asked us if we're hungry and we said no we're here to drink some coffee. He said then you can sit in the garden which is located to the inner side of the place. We asked why we can't sit near the bosporus, pointing the available table right next to the sea. He said if you're not eating you can't sit those tables. I said it's so unfortunate that you discriminate your guests by their selection of food/drinks. He said this is what it is in here with an humbling smile. Then we left the place. So dear visiters, as a local, I do not recommend this place because of their approach to their guests. Instead, you might want to check \Peró\ and \Emek Cafe\ which are located within 650 meters. Peace ️
Every time i am in istanbul i have to visit this lovely place , so cozy , amazing view, lovely staff and so delicious food
Restaurant with a great view located in one of the most elegant places of Istanbul. Prices are expensive compared to other places but it totally worthed considering the view you will enjoy.
Beautiful place , has a wonderful view , quite small , so if you go at busy times, might not find a place to sit. Beautifully decorated, we had a breakfast there which was a modern take on turkish breakfast. Food was delicious! Attentive and great waiters.
A very quiet and cozy restaurant with quality food, service and breathtaking view.
Amazing non obstructed bosphorus view Short but nice wine selection, tempting but expensive (60-70tl) cocktails list. The soup of the day was great, only tried the appetizers which were ok. Service is good and prompt, there is a valet for parking.
