Lovely place for huge choice of ice creams. One for me and one for the dog. Great service. Cost were decent for two. Sugar cones were good quality and crunchy. Situated just off the beach next to some seats. Eat in or take out. I will definitely go back again.. my dog loved his .

Delicious ice creams and hubby even managed to get a hot chocolate made with almond milk. My go to in town for ice creams. Well worth the queue

Lovely colourful place with a throw back to the 50s and 60s. Mainly a dessert/light lunch type place with a reasonable menu. Nice decor, we can only comment on the afternoon tea, as that's what we had. The afternoon tea was plentiful, and very nicely presented with the usual scones with jam and cream, finger sandwiches, and a variety of cakes. It also had grapes and chocolate covered strawberries (mmm...lovely), which was a nice addition. Free top ups of your tea or coffee if needed. Only one small, not really a complaint, but an observation/suggestion which I deducted a star for. The scones come with small pot of jam with a Wilkins and sons lid, and a small pot of what appeared to be squirty cream. As people who have afternoon teas regularly we know that it's often Wilkins jam served, and usually Roddas Clotted Cream. This wasnt Wilkins jam, the pot had been refilled with something else (the label was removed and vacuum button could be depressed, so had been opened). The jam was ok, but I'd suggest not serving it with the Wilkins lid on to make it look like Wilkins jam, as its misleading. By all means use the jar without the lid, as the cream pot is served open anyway. For the cream, only clotted cream is acceptable really considering the price charged, squirty cream leaves you feeling shortchanged. The real deal for jam and cream would add little to the cost considering you're paying 20 for two people. Apart from that though, it was a nice environment and nicely presented food. Hopefully they'll see what I mean about the misleading jars, and just serve them without a lid on. Give it a try!
