Jas Projects S.p.A. started its activities twenty years ago and became as from 1996 a joint-stock company, with Head Office in Genova. It is now one of the leading providers of projects’ forwarding and related logistics services worldwide, specialized in transportation of industrial plants, heavy-lift cargo transport, intermodal/integrated transport engineering and door-to-door project cargo shipments by air, land and sea. The team of founders of the Company came out from an historical genoese freight forwarding company, ODINO VALPERGA, one of the best known in Italy, within which they dealt, for over twenty years, with the transport of the biggest and most important projects of Italian industries and engineering companies worldwide. Transport and logistic services are directly carried out by Jas Projects’ own offices located in Genova, Milano, Algiers for North Africa and Beirut and Doha for the Middle East, and through Jas Projects’ associated companies worldwide, all of them specialized in huge projects. Nevertheless, Jas Projects is a totally independent company, flexible in the project business and free to select its own specialised partners, such as heavy lift hauliers and shipowners, crane and barge operators, etc. according to the projects’ requirements. Jas Projects has long and successfully operated in many industrial sectors, such as iron and steel, mining, energy, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, off-shore, etc., with new and innovative approaches suited to meet each client’s requirements, in order to provide complete door-to-door services for heavy and extra-heavy project components worldwide.
