Fancy place for a cocktail. Beautiful ancient building with Moorish influence and half-restored architecture. A must see for the foreigners.

We had the most amazing time at Les Rouge. The setting of this restaurant/bar is incredible. A family residence palace built in the 16th century, still owned by the same family, bombed in WW2 and walls show it. Time has taken a toll on the frescoes but somehow it all adds to the charm. We went there on a Sunday, which usually a slow day. The owner Benny is an excellent host and he gave a lot of attention and answered all our questions. It was like having a private dining experience! The cocktails are amazing (I think you can literally get anything you want) and food is good too Benny walked us through the multiple rounds of post meal alcohols. Can't thank him enough for his hospitality.

The place need to be far more cosy. It is sad because the service is fantastic and the cocktails are great. Having chairs and tables like a bistrot is not the right option. There are tons of places like that in the city. You have a wonderful building with breathtaking ceilings. Use it. Change the decor, make it like a speakeasy bar and you will make this place a unique place, a must go place...
