No vegan options on the menu and no flexibility from staff to adjust dishes accordingly ---reply to owner: Sorrry that's not true. There was only 1 vegetarian item on the menu and the waitress said it wasn't available. Instead she said they have another dish that's vegan but it's not on the menu, and she didn't know what it is, so we didn't feel like ordering something we have no idea what it is. So we asked instead for some simple dishes if the chef could just remove the meat from it and they simply said no that's not possible.

Super quick service, and delicious meals!! Would recommend to order the horse (large) option and take the doggy bag with you for the next day if you're a small eater!

Yummy build your own or pick a pre-made combo spaghetti place. They have some gnarled combinations with a lot of meat and cheese options. Good stuff.

So good we came here twice. And we were only in Ghent for 2 days! The first was when we were desperate for lunch after our plan was thrown off because the schedules posted on another restaurant's online description were misleading. Although they were about to close at Bavet, they managed to squeeze us in with a takeaway order and let us sit on the terrace and enjoy the views of the river. Then we came back for dinner the next day and enjoyed the full experience (beer, pasta, cheesecake). Some things that stood out to me: -They do a classic in a fun and delicious way. We had the Kenny Phoenix mix of sauces and added meatballs and it was so so good. -The staff were friendly and fast; the menu is customizable. You can choose your personal mix of pasta and sauce and toppings. You can choose a size based on how hungry you are (we shared a \horse\). -This particular location has a romantic terrace which is a lovely place to watch the sunset. Plus, I loved the classic Italian decor (red and white checked, etc). -The cheesecake was a lovely texture with a surprising mix of mango sauce and chocolate cookie topping. -I did find the entrees a little weird mix with spaghetti (Nachos, haloumi, BUT NO GARLIC BREAD?!), but I suppose it's good to have variety. Overall a lovely experience and a very full belly.

Simple pasta dishes, convenient when you are in a hurry and need to grab something quickly. Otherwise wouldn't have a dinner there indoors. Reasonably priced!

Cosy and informal spaghetti restaurant at walking distance from Kinepolis cinema. Decent sized portions, tasty sauce and quick and friendly service. The seating is a bit uncomfortable, but it’s not really meant for a long dining experience anyway. I’d recommend booking a table in advance as it can get crowded. They do take-out and Deliveroo as well.
