Everything was nice, but I didn't like the place. Staff was polite, location is great, dishes were beautiful, various, but none of them was delicious. Buffet is a good idea, helps to economize, as the prices are high. And, of course, opening hours are quite unusual for foreigners.

Place where the locals go. The stew was tender and delicious. And the chips are plentiful, crunchy and fresh.
We had a great lunch at this restaurant. The food was good and well priced. The two waitresses were the best! They were so sweet to us, especially our 2 year old. They even made her an ice cream with a smiley face! Great experience and recommend this restaurant!

So this place is weird. The food is absolutely amazing, the place is beautiful, it's very very cheap for the quality of food. However, it kind of gives off a pretentious vibe. There's a lot of gold and fancy paintings and the staff is overly friendly, like you would expect in a 5 star restaurant. Some people enjoy that, I get a little uncomfortable between the old people complaining about refugees and wearing fancy clothes. I'd definitely visit this place more if I felt more at home. If this doesn't bother you, 100% recommended. Try the \waterzooi\, best in the city.
