One of the best fries in Belgium! We ordered a julientje (fries and fried sausages, with gravy, mayonnese and fried onions) and chicken wings. The portion is big enough for two people. The servers are very nice and serve generous amount of fries, sauces and fried onions. There are only two inconvenient points: no credit card accepted and no seats for dine-in. Everything else is really good and the 30' walk from the city centre really worths it!

What an amazing place, the food is so tasty and the prices are very good. I've been coming here for years and it's always been a wonderful experience being served by Waleska. The burgers are beyond delicious.

The best frituur in the world!!! I always find time to go to this place whenever I am in Ghent. The food is really one of a kind. Even my Belgian friend find it really delicious and unique. The combinations of sauce and meat is very nice. And it is worth the money. 6 eur for this big serving that is also good for sharing. There are other choices but this one is my favorite, Ramboutje.

Best drunk/hangover food in Gent, especially the Julientje and the Romboutje. Classic among the students and party people alike. The food is so delicious, I'm salivating just thinking about it. Getting really hungry all of a sudden, and there's nothing in my kitchen. Anyway, the place is definitely worth a visit if you're craving some good ol' greasy fast food. Just like me right now. So next time you're out and about in Overpoort, do yourself a favour and get them snacks for your journey back home.

Came here because it’s close to the university and I was not disappointed. The portion was so big, we had a problem to finish 1 portion between 2 people. We had Julientje and it was a combo of fries mountain, gravy, mayonnaise, fried onion, and this fried sausages. It was a meal on itself. My other favorite is the fries with gravy, with pieces of beef on it. It was so tasty. The concept of the place is fried stuff junk food stop but doesn’t mean that it’s not tasty. I’d imagine it would be perfect for drunk/hungover crowd!

It was around 1h30 at night, dead calm in this otherwise lively student neighborhood. We were not sober, that's for sure. Once inside, a super friendly lady greeted us (the energy she had in the dead of night is amazing). There was also a guy cleaning the windows. Weird timing, but ok. We had the best drunk fries ever, no joke.
