Modern architecture for the public library of gent city. Superb
like
Novel architecture. There are sometimes exhibitions here. Moreover, I think it is a mixture of library and community center in Ghent since there are many meaningful events held here which are welcome to any age. There are also included a nice cafe. The amazing view at 3rd reading room is a must-see in Ghent.
Super interesting place! Modern and comfortable. We visited it with kids and we enjoyed the library so much. The kids section was so nice that we spent a lot of time there playing and having fun.
Chilling at 3rd stairs with the fantastic view of center of beautiful Gent. And reading some books of Carlos Castaneda...
Very nice place! A lot of light, a lot of space, a big choice The restaurant is cosy and there is a nice view on the canal The employees are a bit shy but very friendly
De Krook is a big library in Ghent. The building has an interesting shape and is situated near De Vooruit en Gent Zuid shoppingmall. You can easily go by tram or bus (Gent Zuid) or bike and park it under the library. It is a big library so there is a lot of choice in books, music, magazines... The is also a game room in the teenage section, place to study, computers, a piano, a café. Sometimes there are events. There is an online catalogue of all the books in Ghent so you can know where to go.
Great public library. Amazing how attractive the new generation libraries can be. And the view is awesome.
