Tucked away on a side street just outside of the city center, this was the first brewery we stumbled upon in Belgium, and were very glad we did! We didn't take the tour, but the beer was great, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very low key. We also tried their meat and cheese platter which was excellent! The outdoor patio area is also perfect for sipping a beer on a nice day. I would highly recommend stopping by this place, and will do so the next time I'm back in Ghent!

Slightly off the city centre will be this brewery. Beers here were not exceptional but had their own little charm. They conduct tours and beer infusion (hope I got that right) sessions where you can create your own blend of herbal beer(s). The 'Bruin' was stand out amongst their beer slider. Service would be testy if you've got a crowd. Pretty much a popular place for young tourists and Ghent citizenry alike.

Delicious alternative beer, good food and very nice bartenders. Highly recommend the brewery tour with tasters too!

Quite nice brewery with some quirky touches here and there. Quite well presented and attempts to be a little better quality than it really is. We didn't take the tour, but didn't feel we missed out much. Some nice beers, some not so great - but you can find these all over ghent, so I guess the locals must like it

Pleasant outside sitting area close to the Baudelo park. You can opt in for a brewery tour that includes 3 tastings. Bonus: ask for the ‘Maîtresse’, it’s an experimental beer they change every month.

Went here because of the reviews alone. Great choice. Stopped in and did the taster of 5 beers. All winners. Even got a beer to take home as a souvenir. The beers are made with medieval spices according to an old recipe. Worth a trip for any beer lovers.

Some interesting choices here! Really good beer but not much hops, malty brews (strong ones pretty sweet)
