Very nice shop and a very friendly helpful owner. Here you're at the right place for unique handmade clothes from Nepal. You feel the good vibes in this place. Certainly worth a visit!
LOVE this gem in Ghent! The clothes designs are amazing - unique, unexpected and priced well. It's awesome that we met the designer and founder. They have an inspiring higher purpose supporting a school in Nepal with their proceeds. You can see pictures of the kids in the store. We bought trendy coats, pants, tops and dresses. Such an amazing store! Can't wait to go back! :)
The place to be if you are looking for Fair Trade clothes and accessories, all made with organic materials and natural dye. You can actually see who makes your clothes and who's lives you help improve by buying your clothes and gifts here. We can really make the difference for these Fair Trade employees in Nepal and many other people who are supported thanks to Yak&Yeti
Fairtrade clothing-store When you buy an item you help people in Nepal. Ask Bharat the owner for more information. Lovely man with a big heart
I love this nepalese shop !! The owner is really kind and he will gladly explain you the project he supports in Nepal with children. He designs himself the clothes you see in the shop and everything is made in the association in Nepal so all fair trade and ethical of course. I bought a nice and sober hemp backpack with the purse, i absolutely love it. The quality is very good ! There is a fb page where you can have all the info. I think this shop is different from the other \hippie\ shop because it is not full of rainbow colors and cheap quality. Prices are also fair!
Quality clothes, fair-trade and fair prices
Yak&Yeti is not only a wonderful shop to visit with a very enthusiastic and driven owner/designer, it is a program that helps people and children of Nepal in need. I went to Nepal myself and visited the Yak&Yeti Fair Trade factory. The clothes that I buy provide not only for the people who work in the factory, but also support a lot of children in their orphanage. That is not only Fair Trade, but a project of selflessness. @Koen Veldeman: I find it a little bit harsh that you only give 1 star to this amazing project. I buy most of my clothes in Yak&Yeti and never had any problem. Off course natural materials should be washed more carefully than synthetic ones. And you should add vinegar the first time you wash it because that fixates the color. The shop can not be responsible when you don't wash it correctly!
