I rented a car, returned it with full tank and the assistant told me that everything is in order. Europcar fail to provide me an invoice but they overcharged me on my credit card. I requested invoice from them but no response. I appreciate if you could provide me an invoice and refund me the refundable deposit
Decided to edit my review after there was so many deductions from our deposit, we ended up paying a lot more than all the other rental companies. Made use of bidvest car rental since and they have been great, no sneaky deductions.
All good and well but why must the people that work for your company especially your drivers wait to get paid long after month end they must still wait almost 2 weeks in the new month before they get their salaries.they also have families to feed
I received a car that had less than a quarter of a tank of fuel. I phoned and advised them and they said it would be noted on my contract. I was then charged to refuel in spite of my call and the fact my total kilometers could not have used up that amount of fuel. Attempts to resolve the issue unsuccessful. After several negative reviews I was eventually contacted by Europcar who passed a refund. I amend my review from 1 to 3 stars. A
I have used Europe car all over South Africa. I find that Isuzu the service is great at all the airports. When I arrived in George I found that the service at the desk was great however when I got to the car I was renting I had to wait for more than 20 min for someone to come and assess the car with me while my wife and baby waiting in the heat. Aside for that, great service
THIEVES!!! Billed us for fuel and a "fuel service fee" when the car has been refueled moments before drop off. It felt like a scam at the time we dropped the car off because the agent refused to give us any paperwork. Obviously the game is then to claim that the vehicle was empty. But I have receipts from the gas station en route to the airport moments before drop off. Put matter into dispute with my credit card and charge has been reversed but unprofessional staff at Europcar keeps wasting my time.
