Upon returning from South Korea after 5 years of teaching English, Jacques decided to amalgamate Conversational English learning and tourism. The result is a unique product that gives clients the opportunity to learn conversational English skills and through experiential learning, practise these skills while touring the Garden Route. Initially, Xplore English developed an Animal Experience and Adrenaline Rush programmes. However, after being well received by both the tourism and English learning industries, a decision was made to ad the Best of Both (BoB) and Cape Town extension programmes. Both these latter named tours follow the same principle as the initial tours, but extends the experiential learning experience even more. We take a lot of pride in designing Garden Route “xperiences” that are fun, innovative and entertaining. Our motto, ‘Tutor, Teach, Travel’, summarizes exactly what we do on multiple levels.
