Visited twice, for Fresh picking Apples, Rappini (saag in punjabi), pumpkins of different types. Still have 2 - 3 varieties of apples to be picked. They also have big nursery. Good courteous help and service by friendly ladies, its a farm run by a family. Location : south west of 8th line and 5th side road.
DG Greenhouses has long been a gardening staple in my family. A family run business with very friendly and helpful staff along with such well cared for plants makes it an easy decision to come back to, time after time. Currently you need to wear a mask and maintain social distance in order to go inside. There are a few one-way sections that are easy enough to maneuver through. Staff sanitize trolleys as they're returned. Honestly this is one of my favourite greenhouses, and I know I'll continue to visit for my planting needs!
It is tough to enjoy traditional shopping experiences with COVID-19 going on, however the owner and employees here are doing an excellent job implementing and enforcing safety measures. Face masks are required, and social distancing is observed. Carts are sanitized, and customers are politely and helpfully directed towards the items they are looking for. Prices are fair, and straightforward, based on container type, making check-out super easy, and fast. Minus one star for limited selection, but that may change later. We will check back in a couple weeks.
Perfect orchard to pick a variety of apples and pumpkins without the crowds and chaos of the larger places.
