A cute small salon owned and operated by a husband and wife team. So happy to have been referred here! One's life is upside down when you don't have a good hairdresser. Nicole fixed my existing cut and now I feel and look much better. Highly recommend this hairdresser who is very experienced and knowledgeable!

Nicole and Johnny are the best, super friendly plus amazing quality work! I am always sad to leave the shop and always love my hair! Went totally different this time and couldnt be happier with my hair!! Update*** 4 weeks later and my colour is still holding strong and looking great still getting lots of compliments and loving how even on the gonna happen fade these colours and way it was done are holding up perfectly couldnt be happier!!

Johnny and Nicole are just the most wonderful and fantastic hair dressers. As an actor and model, I am very careful with who I allow to do my hair. I have 100% trust and confidence I will walk out beyond satisfied and probably had a few good laughs in there too. Just the loveliest people but also so talented. Spent the entire day getting hair extensions put in by Johnny as he is the only one who can put them in flawlessly. Even the “top” salons in Toronto don’t match to his expertise. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Intuitive, creative, kind & attentive just to name a few. Nicole is fantastic! With her expertise and vast experience she way able to give my puffy curly hair a cut that I love! Going to another salon would be a mistake. I couldn't be happier to have found this place :)

Just visited this salon for the first time. Was recommended through a friend. No regrets. The service is top notch and as someone who normally brings a book, didnt even need to open it. Excellent service. Also, usually I like my hairstylists to get an idea of what they want and then use their creativity and talent. Because of this, I've had my fair share of hairstyles gone wrong. Not John though. Immediately he knew what to do and was inspired. These 2 are absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier with my new hair! Lastly, they are open and honest and give great hair advice Thank you both and see you next visit!

Great Expectations is a awesome salon. I have been going there for years now and Nicole and Johnny are very friendly and welcoming. Nicole is very knowledgeable about styles and new trends and will always politely give her honest opinion about hair styles or ideas that would best suit you. She is an expert when it comes to hair colouring. Johnny is great at hair extensions, and is super funny as well! It's a great atmosphere, interesting conversation, always clean and organised, they always offer a hot drink or water and have a good variety of products to buy. Would recommend it to anyone
