We are thrilled with the new family room! Replaced a double pane door with a triple pane and retrofitted a larger window. Halton Windows did an awesome job. Great group of people to deal with start to finish.
We hired Halton Window & Door Company to replace our windows because of a few decent Google reviews and proximity to our home. The product they sell is good, but the service is absolutely horrendous. Anthony was knowledgeable and pleasurable to deal with during the quote and it all went downhill from there. Communication was poor and on several occasions they were outright dishonest. They repeatedly misled us regarding timelines, repairs and paperwork. There was no accountability. Everything was blamed on the manufacturer, even when it was clearly not the manufacturer's fault and easily avoidable. Attention to detail was non-existent. Installers repeatedly made the same mistakes, left garbage everywhere, and paperwork was always wrong. They ultimately refused to deal with issues as a result of their own improper installation and we were forced to use a different company to fix it. Everyone makes mistakes. Halton Windows & Door Company is incapable of dealing with them in a professional and timely manner. Update: Thanks Marie or Tony or whomever else replied. It's odd that you'll take the time to follow up on a review, but when I actually needed you I got the run around. It's too late now. Marie blames Mike, Mike blames Vinylbilt, and so on. I'm not a competitor trying to mess with your reviews, I'm a customer who got screwed by trusting them. Stop worrying about your online reputation and start focusing on your customers.
Anthony and Mike were very professional. The installation was on time with top workmanship. Price and value with top quality windows was the best we found. Our 50 years old bungalo was not the easiest job to do with several very large window. On time and on budget. Thanks Guys !
Upgrading my windows and doors was very stressful for me. My husband was more concerned about the durability and quality, and of course, I wanted it to be pretty. On top of that, we had a budget we need to work within. I spoke to five different companies and decided to go with Halton. Anthony made us comfortable from the start. Unlike the other companies, I felt that he listened to what we needed, not trying to sell us what they have in stock. Their installation crew is great. They were polite and respectful when they were at my home. They finished on time and they didn't leave a mess for me to clean. My windows and door look amazing, my husband is happy as well. I definitely recommend them!
