I first met Doug about 30 years ago and would see him from time to time around the area where we both live. But for a few years I did not bump into Doug anymore. Then one day around 2001-2002 I noticed an ad in the local paper, where Doug was advertising his services as a Financial Planner. At that moment I decided to call Doug and enquire about RRESP's since we had a young daughter, I wanted to consider saving money for her education and for the future. So Doug immediately set up an appointment and conveniently came over to our home to meet. That was the beginning of a long relationship and friendship we have developed all these years later. Doug has helped me plan out my retirement, which he says will never happen, because he cannot see me ever slowing down ! LOL. Jokes aside Doug has been fantastic with handling all my financial decisions including some more resent questions about incorporating, etc. I feel comfortable with picking up the phone at anytime a question pops into my head, and just calling Doug. For example today I called Doug about my sons RRESP, about my TSFA and he answered all my questions on the spot. In conclusion, I want add that I find Doug extremely easy to speak with, he is very knowledgeable about his business, very honest and most of all, Doug is very trustworthy and thats very important when someone in his position is handling your money !! Doug, keep up the good work, and remember, I will never hesitate to refer you to any of my clients !!
