Today January 22nd 2021, my fiancee and I went to this RBC branch to try to set up a RRSP account for her. Her situation is, My fiancee is on a three-year working Visa and not yet a permanent resident (soon-to-be one) and before going to this bank we checked on her CRA account that she has plenty of room in her limit. So we discussed this with the teller and she said she would ask her manager. So the manager said we couldn't do it because is not Canadian nor a permanent resident and implied that she was working illegally in the country or doing some other nefarious Act. And said that my fiancee could not just open \ with whatever money you make\ - she said while using air quotes. The rudest experience we ever have in a bank. We completed this transaction and another Institution without problem.

I’ve been dealing only with the tellers and every single time completely satisfied. It is barely crowded and service is good.

I pop in here once in a while for some US banking. The ladies are very pleasant. They do try to offer you services but are not pushy at all.
Great service most of the time, except for one gentleman. He gave me a hard time when I wanted to deposit my money directly to my credit card. He said that I can't do that at first, then he said that there was a message on my account that I couldn't. Called \ duplicate \ , I called customer service and they said there is no such message and that I can deposit my money directly to my credit card. But for some reason I had to still deposit my money to my chequings account and then transfer it to my credit card. It was the big heavy guy at the teller, I think he only works on weekends. Honestly I don't know why, maybe he was high on something! And every time i go to this location i get mentally stressed out. Hopefully they will improve on there services.
