We recently purchased some vitrines which had some age-related damage to their black lacquer frames. I really didn't know who to ask for help restoring them but feel very lucky to have found Georgetown Refinishing. I called and spoke to Heather who asked me to send photos and then provided me a very helpful response and thorough estimate. After scheduling service, Jon came out to restore the pieces on site. He was friendly, knowledgable, professional, and did a beautiful job on the vitrines. I found the price for the work reasonable. I am extremely happy with my entire experience and will absolutely call on Georgetown Refinishing again.

Georgetown Refinishing (GR) repaired a number of nicks and scrapes on a 40 year old lacquer buffet. Because it is a rather large piece, repairs were done onsite. We sent GR a set of photos showing the damaged areas and they were able to provide us an estimate with the caveat that while they could make the piece look \much better\ repairs would not be perfect. It may be that the repairs are not perfect but they are very, very close. Our buffet went from \sort of beat\ up to \looking new.\ We are extremely happy with the result and recommend GR highly.

References were extremely pleased with finished products from upholstery to refinishing. Prices are on the high end. However, if you're looking to keep pieces of furniture for many years, this place does quality workmanship.
